Sun 08 Jul      IN FLIGHT

1500 hours      Assemble at Burnham Grammar School travel to London Heathrow International Airport, Terminal 4, and check in for your overnight flight to Brisbane with Korean Air. A Gullivers Sports Travel Representative, Graham Lee, will be on hand to assist with the check in procedure.

1935 hours     Flight KE908 departs for Korea

Overnight: In flight

Mon 09 Jul     IN FLIGHT

1420 hours      Flight arrives into Korea. Remain airside for your onward flight to Brisbane.

2005 hours     Flight KE123 departs for Brisbane.

Tue 10 Jul      GOLD COAST

0645 hours      Flight arrives into Brisbane Airport.

On arrival in Brisbane, you will be met in the arrivals hall by our local representative and transferred to your accommodation in the Gold Coast.

The group will be transferred to Sea World where accommodation is arranged for three nights on a bed and breakfast multi-share basis for players (triple share for staff).   

On arrival at the resort you will need to store your luggage until 1400 hours when you can check in.

           

Spend the day at leisure recovering from your overnight flight and enjoying the resort facilities (does not include theme park activities).

Wed 11 Jul     GOLD COAST

                        Breakfast at Sea World Resort.

0930 hours      Transfer to Dreamworld/White Water World (2 x 36 seater vehicles).

The theme park opens at 10am and you need to collect your tickets for the group at the entry gate.

Optional Excursion: Dreamworld & White Water World

Australia's most popular theme park, Dreamworld, is located in South East Queensland at the northern end of the Gold Coast, on the Pacific Hwy (M1) at Coomera, 17kms (20mins) north of Surfers Paradise and 48kms (40mins) south of Brisbane.  It's right next door to Gold Coast's newest theme water park, WhiteWater World.

Holiday Pass which allows entry into Dreamworld & White water world form 1-21 days  

1630 hours      Return to Sea World Resort.

Thu 12 Jul      GOLD COAST

Spend the early morning at leisure enjoying some of Sea World Resorts Facilities.

1130 hours      Coaches will transfer to The Southport School for afternoon fixtures.

           

                        MATCH DAY 1 v GOLD COAST CARNIVAL SCHOOLS (Netball & Rugby)

Venue: The Southport School

           

On completion of the fixture the group will return to the accommodation.

Fri 13 Jul        GOLD COAST

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure.

0930 hours      Transfer to DreamWorld/White Water World for a second day of leisure using your Holiday Pass.

Spend the day at leisure.

1630 hours      Return to Sea World Resort.

Overnight:       Sea World Resort

Sat 14 Jul       GOLD COAST

                        Take breakfast at Sea World Resort before checking out of the Resort.

This will be a full day of sport at the Southport School.

0900 hours     MATCH DAY 2 v GOLD COAST CARNIVAL SCHOOLS (Netball & Rugby)

Venue: The Southport School

After your fixture collect your luggage from Sea World Resort and transfer to the Sports Super Centre for two night’s accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.

Sun 15 Jul      GOLD COAST

Breakfast at the Sports Super Centre. Spend the morning at leisure making use of the Sports Super Centre facility.

1100 hours      Transfer to a local school to play your next set of fixtures.

1530 hours      Enjoy a post match BBQ function with your hosts and exchange of gifts.

0900 hours      Check out of the Sport Super Centre

0930 hours      Coaches will transfer you to Greenmount Beach, Coolangatta for your surfing lessons.

1100 hours      Learn to Surf Excursion – Walkin’ on Water Surf School.

You will be taught in three groups for an hour session per group. There are shops and restaurants at the beach to use and beach games can also be organised.

Hit the waves for an exciting learn to surf experience! Experience the thrill of being in the ocean and riding waves on beginner surfing boards & bodyboards with this unique program. Surfing skills are instructed with an extended environment and surf safety component.

Your lesson includes: 1 hour stand up Learn to Surf Lesson

All Learn to Surf equipment provided

Quality soft surfboards, Lycra shirt or wetsuit

Instruction by Surfing Australia Accredited instructors

Participation in water ratio – 1 Instructor to 8 students

Refreshments, first aid and sun screen

1500 hours      After your surfing lesson the group will transfer down to Brisbane and check into the YHA Brisbane for the next three nights’ accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.

After breakfast spend the morning at leisure.

1330 hours      Transfer to your next fixture.

1530 hours      MATCH DAY 4 v IPSWICH GRAMMAR SCHOOL – RUGBY

                        Both games will be played at the same time

1530 hours     MATCH DAY 4 v IPSWICH GIRLS GRAMMAR SCHOOL – NETBALL

                        Enjoy a post match function with your hosts.

1730 hours      On completion of post match function the group will return to the accommodation.

Overnight:       YHA Brisbane

           

Wed 18 Jul     BRISBANE

After breafkast the full day is at leisure.

0900 hours      Coach will depart YHA for Beerwah and Australia Zoo

1000 hours     Included Excursion – Australia Zoo

Australia Zoo is situated on 45 acres of luscious rainforest, near Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast. An easy hour's drive north of Brisbane, Australia Zoo, features over 1000 native, exotic and rescued animals - offering visitors a full day of wildlife action, fun and adventure.

1430 hours      Depart Australia Zoo and return to your overnight accommodation.

1530 hours      Return to your overnight accommodation.

After breakfast check out of YHA City Brisbane

0800 hours      Transfer to Brisbane Domestic Airport for the flight to Sydney, you will be assisted at the airport by one of our representatives.

1100 hours     Flight DJ942 departs Brisbane for Sydney.

1235 hours     Flight arrives into Sydney.

On arrival in Sydney, transfer your accomodation YHA The Rocks where accommodation is arranged for the next five on a bed and breakfast basis.

Fri 20 Jul        SYDNEY

Breakfast at the hotel.

0900 hours      Today take a full day tour of the Blue Mountains with Scenic Pass. Approximate journey time 1 hour 30 minutes.

The Scenic Cableway takes you on a 545 metre ride into - or out of - the World Heritage-listed rainforest of the Jamison Valley.

Once at the bottom, you can take the Scenic Walkway to the base of the Scenic Railway.  In all, there are just under three kilometres of elevated boardwalk, 380 metres of which is accessible by wheelchair.

Note the Zigzag Railway and restaurant are closed for renovations

Skyway and Scenic Cableway are operating as normal.

1500 hours      Transfer back to Sydney (note traffic can be heavy on Friday nights into Sydney – normal travel time 1.5hrs to the Blue Mountains)

1000 hours     MATCH DAY 6 BGS U16 XV vs ST JOSEPHS COLLEGE 16C XV

                        Venue: St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill.

Enjoy a post match function with your hosts.

Following the post match function, return to your hotel accommodation.

The rugby players may wish to watch one of the GPS 1^st XV games this afternoon – St Josephs College vs Shore School – these are large games attended by approximately 3000-4000 spectators..

Today, why not take the ferry to Manley for the day. Walk down to Circular Quay from the hotel.

Why not take the local ferry to Manley for a day at leisure – enjoy some time at the beach or at the shops. The ferry takes you from Circular Quay across Sydney Harbour and past the Sydney Harbour Opera house to Manley..

Mon 23 Jul     SYDNEY

0915 hours      Make your own way to the Jet Boating jetty.

You need to be ready to board 20 minutes prior to departure times

The boats are designed and built by Oz Jet to perform the ultimate spins, and awesome jet boat stunts. Experience Sydney Harbour at high speed with fish tails, wave riding, and massive sideways slides like a race car. You will be amazed by awesome power brake stops, where the jet boat comes to a complete stop within two boat lengths, and incredible 270^o spins. See Sydney’s famous sites including the Sydney Opera House, Fort Denison, Rose Bay, Goat Island, Taronga Zoo, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and much more. At speeds of up to 45 knots (about 80 km/h) not only will you feel the wind in your hair, but the adrenalin pumping through your body. It's extreme and loads of fun.

Tue 24 Jul      IN FLIGHT / KOREA / LONDON GATWICK

You will have an early start this morning and may be able to take a packed breakfast from the hotel.

0130 hours      Transfer from the hotel to Sydney Airport. One of our representatives will be on hand to assist with check in at the airport.

0455 hours      Check in with Korean Air for your flight to London Gatwick.

0755 hours     Flight KE122 departs for Korea.

1725 hours      Flight arrives into Korea.

1855 hours     Flight KE909 departs.

2255 hours      Arrive at London Gatwick Airport, North Terminal, clear immigration, collect luggage and pass through customs before making your own onward travel arrangements.
