Gold Coast Carnival

On the Thursday we went to a rugby carnival at the Southport School. We went into the tournament with two mixed squads not knowing what to expect of the opposition. We played the Southport School development squad, Gold Coast Regional Academy and st. Ignatious Riverview, which were unfortunately of a much higher quality than ourselves. However, we did win one game against a very tough Melbourne High School with tries from from Josh Billinghurst (now known as the machine) and Tom Shoard.
